Students in their first semester at Lasell take a Writing I course. Students can choose either WRT 101 Writing I, WRT 101 Writing I Workshop, or Writing 101 Writing I Workshop: Multilingual Writers. All courses have the same requirements for the number, length, and type of assignments. The workshop meets for an extended amount of time so that students have the opportunity to work on their writing with the instructor and a peer writing tutor present to answer questions, read over material, and offer suggestions. Please select which course you would prefer to take.
Why do you think the Writing I course you selected would be the best option for you?

College level courses with a grade of “C” or better may transfer in.
Based on the previous college courses you have taken, if needed, you may be registered for WRT101 or WRT102. Both courses have traditional sections and workshop sections.
